Periodic Lane Closures - East Beaver Creek Blvd Asphalt Paving

Avon, CO - Construction of the Beaver Creek Blvd Streetscape Improvements Project continues, with paving operations at the intersection of East Beaver Creek Blvd and Beaver Creek Place. Periodic lane closures throughout the day will take place on Tuesday, July 23rd thru Wednesday, July 24th to facilitate installation of crosswalk pavers and placement of the final asphalt layer. Detours will be in place during temporary closures and access to businesses maintained. Avon Transit will operate off schedule.  Landscaping along West Beaver Creek Blvd continues and impacts to traffic are not anticipated. Work will be performed Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. Motorists may encounter minor delays and are asked to remain patient and to please allow additional travel time. The Project will take approximately six weeks to complete and is being constructed by Hudspeth & Associates, Inc. on behalf of the Town.  Please contact Jim Horsley with the Town of Avon Engineering Department at jhorsley@avon.org or 748-4134 with questions regarding this work.
