Avon, CO – Town offices will be closed on Wednesday, July 3^rd and Thursday, July 4^th in observance of Independence Day. Regular office hours will resume on Friday, July 5^th.
 
The Avon Recreation Center will be open on Wednesday, July 3^rd from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. but the Avon Recreation Center parking lots and Lake Street will be closed. Patrons are advised to walk, bike or take public transportation. The Recreation Center will be open for regular business hours on Thursday, July 4^th. 
 
Avon Transit services will operate ‘off schedule’ on Wednesday, July 3^rd, with no stops at the Comfort Inn or on Lake Street. All buses will otherwise operate on their regular routes.
