Avon, CO – The Town of Avon will host a Summer Outlook Meeting on Wednesday, May 22^nd at 5:30 p.m. at Avon Town Hall to facilitate communication with local businesses and provide an overview of what is to come this summer. Katie Barnes, with DestiMetrics, will provide a quick overview of the program, which gathers metrics from all Avon area hotels. She will also review the Winter 2018-2019 lodging performance and provide a preview of Summer 2019 based on advanced reservations pacing data.  Town staff will review upcoming and ongoing construction projects that may affect local businesses and summer travelers. The upcoming Special Events program will be reviewed with all participants, and the Vail Valley Partnership will cover trends and highlights in 2019. In addition, newly appointed Town Manager Eric Heil will hear from businesses about Town matters including questions and suggestions. The meeting will be held in conjunction with the Vail Valley Partnership on Wednesday, May 22^nd from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. at Avon Town Hall, located at 100 Mikaela Way. Light fare and refreshments will be provided.
