Avon, CO – The Town of Avon will be following Eagle County’s lead in removing all remaining fire restrictions effective  at 12:01 a.m. on Friday, September 7.

Fire managers base decisions about fire restrictions on specific moisture measurements in vegetation and other risk factors such as predicted weather and amount of current fire activity. The recent cooler and wetter weather in the area has prompted officials to ease fire restrictions.
