Playground Construction Will Close Path in Nottingham Park

Path from Lake Street to volleyball courts will be closed for approximately two weeks

Avon, CO – Groundbreaking for the new Destination Jump, Splash, Learn playground in Harry A. Nottingham Park will begin on Monday, October 9^th. As a result of the construction, the path from Lake Street to the volleyball courts on the north side of Nottingham Park will close for approximately two weeks beginning Monday, October 9^th. 
 
The improvements for this Great Outdoors Colorado grant-funded project replaces the 20-year playground with new equipment and play features that interact with the natural environment. The construction will include improved pedestrian and bike access, new park lights and the estimated completion date is November, 2017.
