Performance begins at 6:00 p.m.
The Festival welcomes back Colorado Ballet in a free family-friendly show on the extraordinary stage of the Avon Performance Pavilion at Nottingham Park. Colorado Ballet is known for its depth of repertory and versatility in artistry. Come early and enjoy Nottingham Park before the show, gates open at 4:30 p.m. Blankets, lawn chairs, picnics and commercially-sealed non-alcoholic beverages are permitted. Food and drink will also be available for purchase.

Avon LIVE! Concert

The Iguanas will kick things off as the headliners for the first of four Avon LIVE! Concerts on Aug. 2nd. The Iguanas are redefining the sound of 'Americana' by including the Franco-Acadian inflections of Canada, blues and jazz, and the lilting grace and fiery passion of music from Mexico, for mix of sounds and styles. The Wednesday evening music series is quickly becoming tradition and features award winning national talent and provides the community an opportunity to come together and experience music, fresh and unique foods from food-trucks and enjoy a summer evening outside.

POP UP STRINGS CONCERT

Enjoy this free concert with the Touch of Class String Quartet. Musicians from the Arapahoe Philharmonic, Colorado Chamber Orchestra and Denver Chamber Orchestra will perform selections from the great classical composers and more contemporary creators. Food by Marc will be featuring wine and cheese pairing and other beverage and food offerings.

InteGreat! Rocks: Youth Battle of the Bands

InteGreat! is proud to present a youth battle of the bands to put a spotlight on home-grown emerging talent and to support our community work. Youth bands, with members between the ages of 13-24, will compete on stage for cash and prizes. Come early, the Battle begins at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are on sale now and at the door.

The Vail Valley Charitable Fund is proud to present the 10th Annual BecTri Sprint Triathlon, 5K Walk/Run, Kids Duathlon and Kids Triathlon on Saturday, August 5th, 2017! The four parts of the BecTri will challenge athletes of all ages and abilities.

Location: Free parking is available on-street. There is no event parking at the library.
Traffic: TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE: Lake Street will be closed from 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on August 5th
Transportation: Avon Transit will run a deviated loop; the Lake Street bus stop will not be serviced from 6:00 a.m. through 12:00 p.m. Riders can pick up the bus at Avon Station. Eco Transit will operate on schedule.
