Colorado Ballet Highlights First Edition of Avon’s 2017 Dancing in the Park!

Avon, CO – An exceptional free community cultural offering will happen at the Avon Performance Pavilion at Harry A. Nottingham Park on Monday, July 31^st. The Colorado Ballet will come to the extraordinary stage of the Avon Performance Pavilion with a family-friendly, high-energy performance. Colorado Ballet is known for its depth of repertory and versatility in artistry.
 
Back for a third year in Avon, the popular dance program, Dancing in the Park!, is part of the 2017 Vail Dance Festival, a two-week celebration of exceptional artistry and elegant performances.
 
Colorado Ballet’s performance will be the first of two Dancing in the Park! events. Wonderbound Dance Company will highlight the August 9^th edition of Dancing in the Park!
 
Gates open at 4:30 p.m. and the performance begins at 5:30 p.m.
 

Food and beverages may be purchased at the event | Blankets, lawn chairs and picnics are allowed | Alcoholic beverages may not be brought to the park | Marijuana smoking is prohibited | No pets please

Please deposit rubbish in the proper trash, recycling and composting bins.
 
There is free parking on Town streets and at the Avon Recreation Center and Mikaela Way lots.
