Egg Hunt Returns to Avon on Saturday, April 15th

Avon, CO – The Egg Hunt returns to Harry A. Nottingham Park in Avon, promising a fun-filled morning on Saturday, April 15th from 10:00 a.m. to noon. Families are invited to participate in this free community event, which includes a coloring contest, jelly bean guessing game, kids mountain bike course, exhilarating inflatable features, cowboy clown balloon artist and a visit from the Avon Bunny!

But that’s not all…thousands of eggs will be filled with toys and candy. The actual hunting of eggs will be organized by height, and participants can check in at the Town of Avon tent to be measured and receive a colored wristband. There will be three separate Egg Hunts in the Egg Hunt Arena; two for each height group for which participants will be identified by colored wristbands. There will be a special area for children three years of age and under with their very own bouncy house and Egg Hunt.

To enter in the Coloring Contest, please see the advertisement in the Vail Daily and/or Weekly publications. Use your imagination and color the ad, complete the information section at the bottom, and bring it with you to the Egg Hunt. You can also download the poster at www.avon.org/egghunt. To enter, turn in your artwork at the Town of Avon tent. Prizes will be awarded for the most creative coloring by age group.

Parking for this event is available at the Avon Recreation Center, Avon Elementary School, and the Town Hall East Lot. On street parking is also available on Lake Street and W. Beaver Creek Blvd.
