Avon, CO – The Avon Recreation Center will host the annual Community Skate Night on Thursday, February 16^th, from 4:30 – 7:30 p.m. Both the rink in front of the Recreation Center, and the rink in front of the Nottingham Pavilion will be available to skaters, and some hockey sticks and pucks will be available for the lower rink. In addition to ice skating, the evening will include a fire pit, music, and hot cocoa for all skaters. The event will include free skate rentals, and availability may be limited, so it is recommended that guests arrive early to rent skates.
 
Weather Warning
With warmer temperatures in the forecast, the ice may not be suitable for skating by Thursday. Should the ice soften, the Avon Recreation Center will cancel the event by Wednesday, February 15^th.
