Avon presents The Fabulous Femmes at SunsetLIVE! this Sunday, July 24

SunsetLIVE! is a free community concert series presented by the Town of Avon

 
Avon, CO – Please join us on the Terrace at Nottingham Park for SunsetLIVE! this Sunday, July 24^th for another spectacular evening of free live music and a breathtaking sunset over Nottingham Lake. The Fabulous Femmes perform at 6:00 p.m. playing your favorite songs from the fifties and sixties.
 
The Fabulous Femmes are one of our favorites performing with all the glitter and glam with dancing boots on!  We invite you to experience the best of the fifties and sixties rock and roll with the Fabulous Femmes. From its birth in the 1950s, and the Elvis hysteria, to Motown, the British Invasion, and your favorite girl groups, the 1950s and 1960s has something for every musical taste. Whether you wear long leather fringe or a mini with white patent Gogo boots, you will dance the night away.
 
“The best place to spend your Sunday evening is at SunsetLIVE! with friends and family. Bring a lawn chair and picnic basket and enjoy a relaxing Rocky Mountain sunset over Nottingham Lake,” said Danita Dempsey, Culture, Arts & Special Events Manager for the Town of Avon. “SunsetLIVE! is BYOB and all Avon events are plastic free, so when you pack your favorite beverage, be sure it is not in a single-use plastic container,” continued Dempsey.
