Avon presents The Evolution at SunsetLIVE! this Sunday, July 10
SunsetLIVE! is a free community concert series presented by the Town of Avon
Avon, CO – Please join us on the Terrace at Nottingham Park this Sunday, July 10th for another spectacular evening of free live music and a spectacular sunset over Nottingham Lake. The Evolution performs at 6:00 p.m. playing an array of originals, and genre-bending, hip shaking songs, ranging from rock ‘n’ roll, eighty’s, modern tunes, and Caribbean sounds, including Latin rhythms and reggae music.
The Evolution is a musical project that evolved from collaborations, over time, with musicians from Miami, FL to Vail, CO. The project’s founder, Mauricio Cadavid, brings you original music and songs from all around! Joined by his wife, Dina Cadavid, on vocals, percussion, and ukulele. Also in the lineup is Dave Donahue on bass guitar and vocals, Connor Williams on trumpet, and holding down the rhythm on drums, Ben Freese! Camille Sawtelle on vocals, Josh Heimerdinger on saxophone, and Jake Lidard playing keys, and synth. And last, but not least, Mr. Florida, Will Whiting on lead guitar!
The Evolution takes you on a musical voyage that keeps you grooving!
“The best place to spend your Sunday evening is at SunsetLIVE! with friends and family. Bring a lawn chair and picnic basket and enjoy a relaxing Rocky Mountain sunset over Nottingham Lake,” said Danita Dempsey, Culture, Arts & Special Events Manager for the Town of Avon. “SunsetLIVE! is BYOB and all Avon events are plastic free, so when you pack your favorite beverage, be sure it is not in a single-use plastic container,” continued Dempsey.
