Avon, CO – Things are changing at Avon Recreation Center. During October, the facility is slated to undergo renovations to the pool area, lobby, Mind-Body Studio, locker rooms and family changing rooms. The pool area will close on Friday, October 1^st. The Mind-Body Studio, lobby, locker rooms and family changing rooms will close on Monday, October 4^th.              
The pool area project includes repairs to the facility’s Jacuzzi, replastering of all pools and other maintenance work. The locker rooms and family changing rooms are receiving a full remodel, including new lockers, partitions, and flooring. Due to the renovations in both areas, the steam room and sauna will not be accessible to the public.

All upstairs fitness facilities, including the weight training room, cardio room, functional training room will remain open, along with the lower-level spin studio and lobby restrooms. Regularly scheduled fitness classes will continue through the renovation.

The new and improved facilities will be unveiled on Monday, November 1^st.
