Art Around Avon Walking Tour on Friday, June 11^th

Avon, CO – Avon unveils a new art program and is hosting an Art Around Avon self-guided walking tour on Friday, June 11^th beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Town Hall. The Art Around Avon consist of nine delightful sculptures which will be on exhibit throughout the Town through May of 2022. The artists will be available during the walking tour to share their inspirations and creative energy behind the work. Additionally, renowned Colorado-based muralist, Pat Milbery will begin the installation of the large-format mural on the east facing exterior wall of the Avon Recreation Center.

“We are enthusiastic and honored to elevate the awareness of the arts in Avon and bring these stunning bodies of work to our community,” said Culture, Arts and Special Events Manager Danita Dempsey. “Our community-based volunteer jury panel worked diligently to curate just the right pieces for Avon and we couldn’t be more grateful,” she continued.  

The nine sculptures on exhibition through May of 2022 are available for purchase on the Town’s website.
