Avon won’t enforce seasonal lighting date restrictions

Avon, CO – Avon Town Manager Eric Heil has made the decision not to enforce the seasonal holiday lighting date restriction in 15.30.040 General Outdoor Lighting Standards (3)a so that all areas throughout Town can use holiday lighting, provided that no holiday lights shall be illuminated between the hours of midnight and 6:00 a.m. This direction is being provided in consideration of the Town of Avon and Eagle County Emergency Declarations and the suggested social practice of lighting holiday lights to lift spirits and demonstrate community solidarity during this unprecedented time.
