Search for Cole Michael Greenfield

Avon, CO – It is with sad hearts that we announce that the Eagle County Coroner, Kara Bettis has formally identified the deceased male who was found last night as Cole Michael Greenfield. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends who are dealing with this tragic loss.

The Eagle County Coroner’s Office and the Avon Police Department will continue the unattended death investigation into his cause of death, pending the results of an autopsy. At this time, there are no indications of foul play. We thank all persons and agencies involved in the extensive search yesterday through last night for Cole, and we find no words that can accurately convey our sympathies to his friends and family.
