Avon, CO - Nottingham Park log cabin and lake will officially open for the summer season beginning Thursday, June 7 through Monday, September 3rd. The cabin will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. weather permitting.

The summer activities include paddle boat rentals, fishing, concession sales, and summer sporting equipment rentals. Be sure to join us this summer for the Burger King Father’s Day Fishing Derby on Sunday, June 17 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

The Town of Avon would like to remind park users that motorized crafts are not permitted on Notthingham Lake. All water vessels must be registered through the Avon Recreation Department. Once registration is complete, boaters will receive a 2012 boat registration card which must be on the person operating the vessel while on the lake. Boat occupants are required to wear life jackets at all times. Harry A. Nottingham Park is open from sunrise to 10:00 p.m. daily. A complete list of park rules is available at www.avon.org.
