Avon, CO – Due to the recent warm weather, Nottingham Lake will officially be open for the private boating season April 10 through October 31, 2012. The Town of Avon would like to remind park users that motorized crafts are not permitted on Nottingham Lake. All water vessels must be registered through the Avon Recreation Department; boat registration is $12 per vessel. Once registration is complete, boaters will receive a 2012 boat registration card which must be on the person operating the vessel while on the lake. Boat occupants are required to wear life jackets at all times.

Harry A. Nottingham Park is open from sunrise to 10:00 p.m. daily. A complete list of park rules is available at www.avon.org.
