Dear Residents,

RE: AVON ROAD IMPACT NOTICE

The IronKids National Triathlon Series team would like to thank you in advance for hosting the third annual IronKids Avon Triathlon. The race will take place at Harry A. Nottingham Park on Sunday, September 4, 2011. Children, ages 6 to15 will swim, bike and run during the course of the race. Over the span of approximately four (4) hours, kids will be riding their bikes on a two (2) mile course through the streets of Avon. Therefore we are asking for your cooperation and understanding on race-day as you travel through town.

The following roads will be closed between the hours of 6:00 a.m. -11:00 a.m. on Sunday, September 4, 2011.

- West Beaver Creek Blvd. (Between Lake Street and Avon Elementary School)
- Lake Street
- Benchmark Road (Between the Avon Library and Lake Street)

Limited parking is available to residents living within the road closure beginning Saturday night at 6:00 p.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Sunday at the following lots: Avon Post Office, Lodge at Avon, Avon Elementary School, Comfort Inn, Christie Lodge (north/back lot).

During the road closure, Avon Transit will not provide service to the following stops: West Gate Plaza, The Aspens, and Lake Street.

Please join us on Saturday, September 3rd at Nottingham Park for a free community pancake breakfast from 9:00 a.m. to 10:15 a.m.
