Avon, CO – Nottingham Lake in Harry A. Nottingham Park will be open to boaters with the proper registration starting Monday, May 10th. A person may bring into or operate any boat, raft, watercraft, or other vessel within Nottingham Lake provided that it is non-motorized and less than sixteen (16) feet in length, and provided further that the user first obtains a permit from the Town Recreation Department. Such permit shall be issued only upon submittal of an annual fee of $12.00, a completed application form, and a liability waiver executed by a responsible person over the age of 18 years. Boat occupants are required to wear life jacket at all times. Boating is permitted through the end of September from sunrise to sunset.
