Please join us on the Terrace at Nottingham Park for Trees Don’t Move this Sunday, July 31st for another spectacular evening of free live music and a breathtaking sunset over Nottingham Lake.
Trees Don’t Move is an alternative-rock band hailing from Eagle, Colorado. They formed under their current lineup of Ben Suttor on lead vocals, Christian Dent on lead guitar, Jax Leija on drums, Cooper Filmore on rhythm guitar, and Micah Robinson on bass guitar in the Fall of 2019, and have made a name for themselves by playing venues up and down the valley ever since. This summer, they released their self-titled debut album, a fusion of ska, punk, and indie, and have garnered a loyal local following as a result. With more dates this summer than ever before, Trees Don't Move shows no signs of slowing down.
“The best place to spend your Sunday evening is at SunsetLIVE! with friends and family. Bring a lawn chair and picnic basket and enjoy a relaxing Rocky Mountain sunset over Nottingham Lake,” said Danita Dempsey, Culture, Arts & Special Events Manager for the Town of Avon. “SunsetLIVE! is BYOB and all Avon events are plastic free, so when you pack your favorite beverage, be sure it is not in a single-use plastic container,” continued Dempsey.
