Avon Transit Lifts Mask Mandate

On Monday, April 18, a federal judge voided the federal mask mandate on public transportation.  The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) will not enforce their mask order that was scheduled to expire after May 3, 2022.

With the low infection rate in the local area, Avon Transit lifts its mask mandate. Passengers will continue to board from the back door and masks will continue to be available on all all Avon buses.
