LET IT SNOW!!! (Winter Weather Advisory)

(Winter Weather Advisory)

A winter weather advisor is in effect as the first significant winter storm of the 2021-2022 season finds its way towards Avon and Eagle County. Heavy snow is expected beginning Thursday and continuing into Friday. Total snow accumulations around Avon may reach between ONE TO TWO FEET!!!. More snow is possible at higher elevations and on west facing slopes.
The Town of Avon urges residents and visitors to use extreme caution when driving and walking in Town. Travel may be difficult with blowing snow reducing visibility. Slower speeds, winter tires and additional travel time are strongly recommended. PLEASE, BE SAFE OUT THERE!
