Campaign Sign Regulations in Avon
The Town of Avon offers some friendly reminders for a smooth
As campaign season launches, the Town of Avon has some reminders for candidates and ballot supporters regarding the posting of signage within Town limits. In no instances will signs be permitted on public property. This includes within and surrounding roundabouts and intersections of roads, unless the sign is fully within private property.
Additional stipulations include:
- No more than twelve (12) square feet of sign per property.
- Signs must be four (4) feet or less in height.
- Signs may not be posted for more than forty-five (45) days in duration.
The Town’s Public Works Department actively enforces the prohibition on public property. If a sign is found to be located on public property, it will be promptly removed. Signs removed from public property are brought to the Town’s Swift Gulch facility located at 500 Swift Gulch Road.
Please contact the Avon Town Clerk with any questions or if you believe your sign may have been relocated. Brenda Torres, Town Clerk, (970) 748-4001 or email@example.com.
