About Us

The Human Resources & Risk Management Department supports the Town Leadership Team in providing highly relevant guidance and coaching on a wide array of people issues and supports TOA employees by providing a robust series of services and benefits, seeking to make Town of Avon an attractive workplace.  HR maintains currency on best HR practices in the municipal world, and in our geography, and works to keep all HR staff current on HR practices in general by providing continuing education opportunities.
