Avon residents can get a $200 rebate when they purchase a new e-bike for running errands or commuting to work. A $100 rebate for used e-bikes with a minimum purchase price of $500 is also available.
Head to a local Eagle County retailer or order your e-bike online. Two e-bikes per household limit and $1,000 minimum purchase price for a new e-bike. To qualify for the program, you must live in Avon full-time and intend to use the e-bike to offset vehicle miles.
Avon Residential Rebate Rules:
Rebates are subject to change and/or discontinuation without notice. Funding is limited. Applications will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis.
Rebates are for full-time Avon residents only. The resident must intend to replace trips otherwise taken by automobile, by using an e-bike. There is no rebate for recreational use. Voter registration or proof of full-time Avon residency is required.
Rebates are only available on e-bikes purchased in Eagle County after Saturday, November 20, 2021.
Rebates are only eligible on new e-bikes with a minimum purchase price of $1,000 and used e-bikes with a minimum purchase price of $500.
Rebate checks will be distributed within 4-6 weeks of receiving completed rebate application.
Detailed invoices and receipts for e-bike purchases must be furnished.
Rebate application and associated receipts must be received no later than 180 days from date of purchase.
E-bike rebates are limited to two per household, regardless of whether e-bikes are new or used.
One rebate will be issued per person.
E-bikes are eligible for one rebate only. If a new e-bike receives a rebate, it cannot receive a second rebate if sold as a used e-bike.
