Tai Chi
About
Tai Chi is an Chinese martial art practiced for both its defense training and its health benefits. Combining slow deliberate movements, meditation and breathing exercise, the routines promote circulation, balance and alignment.  Slow movements do not increase your heart rate or burn calories, rather they help restore your energy, balance and muscle control. Classes are casual and friendly for you to feel at home in your practice.

Several classes are offered for all ability levels; check the group fitness schedule for class dates and times.



Class Offerings
  • Beginner Tai Chi
    • Mondays and Wednesdays 5 p.mm
    • Yoga Studio
    • Entry included with a fitness rider or punch cards and drop in rates are available

  • Intermediate Tai Chi
    • Mondays and Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m.
    • Fitness Studio
    • Entry included with a fitness rider or punch card and drop-in rates are available
  • Senior Tai Chi
    • Tuesdays and Thursdays 11:15 a.m.
      Fitness Studio

  • Restorative Movement Tai Chi
    • Mondays 12:30-1:30 p.m.
      Wednesdays 10 -11 a.m.
