The ECO/Avon Joint Regional Transportation Operations Facility is a planned project to build a campus for "back-of-house" operations for municipal services on roads, bridges, trails and transit.  The project site is located at 500 Swift Gulch Road in Avon.  The Town of Avon and Eagle County have jointly applied for state and federal grant funding for the design and construction cost of this facility.

Connect Avon Now is a proposed project which includes specific improvements to transit, parking, bicycle, and pedestrian trails in order to improve overall connectivity so that Avon's long-term vision can be achieved.  Avon's vision  - which includes a reduced reliance on automobiles in association with future population growth, property development, and urban renewal - is explained in more detail in the Comprehensive Plan.  The specific components and funding plan for Connect Avon Now has been developed in response to detailed techncial analysis and community input received during 2006-09.  Voter approved funding will be required for project implementation.  Click on the link to the left to obtain more information about this project.
