Youth Programs and Activities
The Avon Recreation Department offers many different programs and activities for your children. Our youth programming division offers programs for after school and during school breaks. Participants must complete an Activity Waiver to enroll in the programs. Parents must complete a Youth Activity Waiver for participants under 18 years of age.

In addition, we have offer swim lessons for all ages. The offerings include private and semi-private swim lessons, baby and parent swim lessons, group swim lessons, as well as a competitive swim team. Please call the Rec Center to obtain more information and to register. 

If you have a teenager between the years of 15 and 17 and they want to use the upstairs fitness area, they must first complete a fitness orientation.  This is a complementary orientation and can be scheduled by contacting our Fitness Supervisor at (970) 748-4032.

School's Out Camp
Join the Avon Recreation Center for School's Out Camp filled with games, crafts, swimming, rock climbing adventures and more!
Times:7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m
Cost: $33 / day
Ages 5-12

Parents and Guardians:
Please be aware of our new cancellation policy.
Cancellations 7 days prior to the beginning of the program will not be refunded
Cancellations 8 days or more prior to the beginning of the program will receive a 50% refunded amount of the total paid.


After School Programs
The Avon Recreation Center offers an After School Program for students aged 5-12 at Avon Elementary and Homestake Peak School every Monday thru Friday! Check out the complete After School Parent Handbook to learn more.
