Daily evening service is available on our Restaurant Shuttle starting December 17 to April 16 from 5:50 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. This shuttle provides an evening connection between Avon and Beaver Creek for those wishing to dine at any of the popular restaurants within the Town of Avon and Beaver Creek Resort. Avon lodges are serviced by this shuttle along with the covered bridge bus stop in Beaver Creek Village.
The Town of Avon Skier Express service will get you to Beaver Creek village for work or play seven days a week. All Avon lodges are served with 15 minutes daily service from 8:00 a.m. to 11:21 a.m. and from 2:45 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. Thirty (30) minutes daily service is available during mid-day from 11:21 a.m. to 2:45 p.m.
Deviated Route Provides Service to West Beaver Creek Boulevard
Beginning January 16th, 2017, Avon Transit will offer a deviated route for the Skier Express Shuttle, providing daily service to residents and guests along West Beaver Creek Boulevard. The new route will run once each morning, beginning at Westgate Plaza, on the corner of Hwy 6 and West Beaver Creek Boulevard at approximately 7:50 a.m. The route will continue to The Aspens and then head east on West Beaver Creek Boulevard, picking up passengers at all the Avon Transit bus stops on West Beaver Creek Boulevard. The shuttle will also stop at the Beaver Creek Elk Lot before delivering passengers to Beaver Creek Village. In the afternoon, the last two Skier Express Shuttles will make stops on West Beaver Creek Boulevard upon request.
This extended bus service is part of an Avon Transit pilot program that seeks to provide enhanced transit services to Avon residents and guests. All aspects of the deviated route, including ridership and timeliness, will be monitored through the end of the ski season in order to determine if the Town should provide similar service in the future.
