1. What documents does the Town of Avon’s Planning Division use to review new projects, additions, and minor projects?

The Planning Department uses the Zoning Code Title 17 of the Municipal Code and the Town of Avon Residential, Commercial, and Industrial Design Review Guidelines.

2. How much does it cost for an application?

Each application has a different fee based on the type of development being applied for. Please review our most current Fee Schedule.

3. If I submit an application how long will it take to be reviewed by the planning division?

The length of review depends on the current work load for staff. If the review requires a hearing then the application will be sent to the Planning and Zoning Commission. Please review the Planning and Zoning Submittal Schedule for more information.
