Avon LIVE! Concert in the Park: Wednesday, August 23 - Reckless Kelly


Avon, CO – Join us at the Avon Performance Pavilion, at Harry A. Nottingham Park, on August 23rd for family fun and at the Avon LIVE! free community concert. Reckless Kelly headlines the August 23rd show, with Paul Cauthen opening the evening’s live music.  Music begins at 5:30 p.m.

Concert & Event Specials:  The concert is free to the public and will feature a Family Happy Hour offering half-price food between 5:00 and 6:00 p.m.  Mouth-watering options include scrumptious tacos, volcano, gyros and wild-game sausage and truffle fries. Attendees are invited to Enter to WIN one of three pairs of Skull Candy Bluetooth Headphones between 5:00 and 6:30 p.m. at the merchandise tent.  The Kids Zone will be open during the event and features face painting and the much heralded, Cave of Confusion, which is a 3D interactive maze.  A collection of fresh brews from Coors Light, Coors Banquet, Blue Moon, Leinenkugel Summer Shandy and Native craft beers, refreshing spirits and non-alcoholic beverages will be sold.


The Bands:  Reckless Kelly will headline the August 23rd concert, led by brothers Willy and Cody Braun, whose alternative sound balances country and rock. Their songs center on rousing and emotional melodies, and dynamic musicianship that never fails to satisfy. Singer and songwriter Paul Cauthen will open the show with his gorgeous gospel harmonies, coupled with Texas country twang and big-voiced rock and roll.

Transportation & Parking:  The use of public transportation is encouraged as well as walking or riding a bike to the park. Free on street parking is available, including on West Beaver Creek Boulevard and Lake Street, as well as at the Avon Recreation Center Parking Lot and Beaver Creek Resort’s Elk Lot. 


Food and beverages may be purchased at the event | Please deposit rubbish in the proper trash, recycling and composting bins | Blankets, lawn chairs and picnics are allowed | Alcoholic beverages may not be brought to the park | Marijuana smoking is prohibited | No pets please
