Avon, CO – The Town of Avon will host two Business Outreach Meetings next week to update local businesses on town investments and to hear from businesses about town matters such as special events, parking and infrastructure investments. The meetings will be held in conjunction with the Vail Valley Partnership on Tuesday, May 9 from 12 – 1:30 p.m. at the Avon Public Library, and Wednesday, May 10 from 8 – 9:30 a.m. at Avon Town Hall.
Meeting topics will include the development plans for Town-owned lands, including Tract G, which encompasses the current site of Town Hall, Fire Station, Nottingham Park, Recreation Center, and surrounding street parking and public parking lots. Town staff will outline the civic engagement process, upcoming community survey, and public meetings related to the design and planning for these properties. Current Capital Improvement Projects will also be reviewed, including plans for New Town Hall and Beaver Creek Boulevard.
